Structural Fire Protection
Unlike some alternative fire protection technologies, for example intumescent paint, our encasement systems will be done with Glasroc boards and give acoustic benefits by reducing sound transmission through the steelwork. Further improvements can be made to the sound insulation performance by the inclusion of Isover insulation within the system, and by modifying the abutment detailing to reduce flanking sound transmission.
Glasroc F firecase and Gyproc plasterboards are manufactured to stringent factory tolerances, giving the client peace of mind that the correct thickness of fire protection has been applied, ensuring life safety in the event of a fire.
Fire Stopping
Our teams of installers undertake fire stopping to all service penetrations and/or voids in fire compartment walls or floors to ensure compliance with the specified fire strategy and Part B.
All penetration sealing is recorded with an individual unique seal number, which is labelled and digital photograph of the seal taken which is then forwarded onto client on completion of project.
